Renault Korea has launched the 2026 Arkana, featuring the addition of the top-tier Esprit Alpine trim and updates to its exterior and interior design. The powertrain options for the 2026 Arkana include E-Tech Hybrid and 1.6 GTe, with specifications optimized for each trim.

The Arkana Hybrid features a dual-motor, series-parallel hybrid drive system similar to that used in the Grand Koleos Hybrid. The Arkana E-Tech Hybrid was developed based on Renault Group’s hybrid technology expertise from its Formula 1 machines.

The Arkana utilizes a clutchless multi-mode gearbox that combines a two-speed electric motor with a four-speed engine transmission. This dual-motor system integrates with the 1.6 gasoline engine, delivering fast gear shifts, high energy efficiency, and dynamic driving performance.

Depending on driving conditions, the Arkana can utilize all hybrid modes: series, parallel, and series-parallel. It boasts superior fuel efficiency in urban areas, achieving a combined fuel economy of 41.0 MPG with 17-inch wheels and 39.9 MPG with 18-inch wheels.
The Arkana Hybrid introduces the Esprit Alpine trim, which integrates the heritage and sporty style of the flagship sports car brand Alpine, currently operating an F1 team.

The Arkana comes standard with a driving assistance system that enhances driver convenience and safety. It includes a driver fatigue alert system (DDAW) and a MY SAFETY button that allows users to toggle ADAS functions, available across all trims.

The 1.6 GTe gasoline model of the Arkana has adjusted its trim configurations for the 2026 model year to include Techno and Iconic trims. The Iconic trim now features 18-inch wheels and tires, as well as an auto-hold function as standard equipment.

The Iconic trim of the 2026 Arkana Hybrid and 1.6 GTe model now offers optional camel brown synthetic leather seats. Customer deliveries are set to begin in mid-April. The prices for the 2026 Renault Arkana, applying eco-car tax benefits and reduced individual consumption tax for the hybrid, are approximately $21,200 for the Techno trim, $24,200 for the Iconic trim, and $25,600 for the Esprit Alpine trim.

The gasoline model 1.6 GTe will be priced at approximately $17,200 for the Techno trim and $19,800 for the Iconic trim after the individual consumption tax reduction.
