I recommend that the components I suggested are not genuine Audi parts.
However, they all meet the specifications and, believe it or not, some products outperform genuine Audi oils.
Plus, they come at a reasonable price, so why wouldn’t you use them?! I’m not trying to sell you anything; I would choose this setup myself.
Audi A6 Engine Oil
First, we will replace the two filters.
As you know, these products are typically included during an engine oil change.
The air cleaner filters the air intake and affects airflow, while the oil filter removes carbon residues and metal shavings from the oil circulating inside the engine.
What about a dirty filter?! The sooner you replace it, the better, of course.
The oil is indeed black because it's diesel... Some car owners ask, "How's the oil condition?!" but... I can't check.
The owner probably knows better than I do?! If they’ve taken good care of it, that’s great; if not, it might be bad...
The recommended interval for replacing the Audi A6 engine oil is 1 year or 15,000 km. If you reset it, low-performance oils, such as mineral oils, have a shorter lifespan.
Audi knows this too... If you use good oil, it lasts longer; if not, you’ll need to replace it sooner! Do you understand?!

Audi A6 Fuel Filter
The fuel line is located right in the middle of the vehicle's undercarriage.
It’s hard to see because it’s inside the under cover.
If you don’t manage this well, not only will your car start acting strangely, but expensive fuel line components can also get damaged.
I’ve seen many cars that have metal shavings and other contaminants coming out repeatedly.
Generally, there are set intervals for replacements, but with so much information, it can be confusing, right?!
I would do it every 50,000 km.
If you’re using a diesel engine, this level of maintenance is necessary.
If you don’t drive excessively, you can do it every 2 to 3 years?! It's not a burden.
When working on the fuel filter, a little diesel will leak, which can lead to odors later.
You must clean it thoroughly.
Fuel! Since it’s a sensitive part, it’s best to have it serviced at a specialized imported car maintenance shop like ours.
If any issues arise, we can address them immediately.
Now, let’s move on to the Audi A6 transmission oil
We will proceed with the CVT transmission oil drain and refill process.
We collect the oil during the drain to check how much was in there and assess the contamination level, so we can provide feedback to the owners.
If there are no issues, we simply move on.~
If the contamination level is high, we can increase the replacement frequency to maintain better condition.
However, this will take more time, and since the CVT transmission oil quantity will increase, there will be additional costs, right?!
Occasionally, people hear that more replacements are better and ask, "How many times do I need to do it?!" but in reality, it’s all about the price difference.;
There’s no limit... If you feel uneasy after the replacement, it’s best to bring it back sooner for the next change!
This vehicle had its oil changed without major issues, and the oil condition is normal.

The overflow method must show the right amount, and if it’s low, it won’t come out.
Additionally, we monitored the transmission temperature through a scanner to ensure accurate leveling.
