The new Tesla Model Y Juniper comes in three variants: RWD, Long Range, and LAUNCH, with prices as follows:

Long Range: 6,314,000 KRW (approximately 4,700 USD)
RWD: 5,299,000 KRW (approximately 3,900 USD)
The most popular model is the RWD, praised for its excellent value for money.
By keeping the price the same as before, it now competes effectively with other electric SUVs.
My spouse and I are looking for an electric car primarily for city driving,
and with the new Tesla Model Y Juniper RWD priced at 5,299,000 KRW (approximately 3,900 USD), it has become a strong contender.
At the showroom, staff were answering customer questions one by one,
and most inquiries were about the RWD model.
Let’s briefly compare the specifications of the three Tesla Model Y Juniper variants.

When I first saw the interior, the centrally located 15.4-inch touch display immediately caught my attention.
Tesla operates most functions through the center display,
and with improved usability, drivers can easily control various functions while driving.
Additionally, the rear seats feature an 8-inch display, allowing passengers to conveniently access various functions.
With the 8-inch display, passengers can enjoy various games, which would be especially fun for children and adults alike while charging.
The more luxurious interior design enhances overall satisfaction, especially since the RWD model has no price increase compared to the previous version, which could frustrate existing owners.
The changes in the interior design and exterior aesthetics could justify a price increase of around 2 million KRW (approximately 1,500 USD), making it hard to argue against its improved value for money.
Many families visited the showroom that day,
and it was impressive to see a child quietly sitting in the second row while their parents explored the new Model Y's various functions in the front row.
Several families I know have chosen the Model Y as their family car,
and its size, along with its safety and convenience features, makes it quite appealing.
The new Tesla Model Y Juniper features specially processed acoustic glass, which reportedly provides remarkable sound insulation when the doors are closed.
Although I couldn’t experience this firsthand in an environment where I could close the doors,
the glass felt solid, suggesting good soundproofing.
Sitting inside, I experienced ample headroom and legroom, making it suitable for families composed of adults.
This vehicle seems like a great choice for family outings.
My spouse and I often go golfing, and with a driving range of 400 km (approximately 248 miles), we can easily visit most golf courses without needing to recharge.
The second-row seats can fold electrically using a button located inside the trunk, which adds convenience.
Folding the second row creates a flat surface, making it appealing for camping or outdoor activities.
If you fold down all the seats, you can utilize up to 2,138 liters of space.
The trunk space is also generous, and the tailgate opens wide for easy loading and unloading.
The RWD model features 19-inch cross-flow wheels,
and the photo below shows the side design of the LAUNCH model equipped with 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels.
The frunk has also expanded to 117 liters, providing ample space.
In reality, it seems to comfortably fit a Boston bag, while smaller bags, backpacks, or grocery bags would work well too.
The Tesla Model Y Juniper RWD launches at the same price of 5,299,000 KRW (approximately 3,900 USD), and similar subsidies are expected.
The expected subsidies will likely be around 2,300,000 to 2,400,000 KRW (approximately 1,700 to 1,800 USD).
Once the electric vehicle subsidies are finalized, I will share the accurate details.
The Tesla Model Y Juniper RWD has already generated significant interest due to its enhanced features while maintaining the same price.
