With the release of the new Juniper, the newly added silver color for the Tesla Model Y has become quite popular lately. The official color name is "Quicksilver." However, the original silver color has a slight blue tint, making it somewhat different from the aluminum silver of the Cybertruck, right?
It seems that many people have been inquiring about the "GT Silver" wrapping I had done at Alien Agit in Bundang Pangyo. It’s not just because it’s my car; I genuinely think it’s an attractive color. Especially when exposed to natural light, the unique metallic aluminum sheen blends perfectly with the Tesla brand.
As a reference, the photo above shows the Tesla Model Y in Juniper Quicksilver and Glacier Blue. While silver is nice, I personally preferred the vivid blue from the older Model Y.
Now, here I am at the Alien Agit headquarters located in Bundang Pangyo, Unjung-dong. It’s been over two months since the wrapping, so I stopped by for a check-up.
Typically, the company manual states that after the wrapping work is completed, the film settles after about a month. During this time, it’s crucial to check for any lifting or other issues. Fortunately, I haven’t encountered any problems, so I kept postponing the check until now, haha.
This company is renowned for working on luxury cars and supercars, so I didn’t expect any special issues. Their PPF and wrapping technology is top-notch. However, since humans perform the work, potential issues can arise based on the vehicle's characteristics, parking environment, and driving conditions, so it’s wise to get a check-up.
The staff complimented the color, saying the GT Silver is indeed the best choice for the Tesla Model Y. The moment my lips curled into a smile... ^^
Additionally, while wrapping, I removed the trunk emblem and replaced it with the TESLA lettering, which was a brilliant move. It may not be Juniper, but it gives off a new vibe, doesn’t it?
This is a matter of personal preference, but I find the new front headlamp design of the Juniper a bit awkward. It feels like they tried to force a Cybertruck look on a body that remains unchanged. Would that be an accurate way to express it?
I believe it would have been better if the new Model Y had sleek headlamps and a sporty bumper detail, similar to the Model 3 Highland. That’s a bit of a disappointment for me.
I’m not sure if I’d want to buy a Tesla again at that time. Nowadays, many electric cars are emerging, and the recently test-driven Polestar 4 felt so luxurious and comfortable that it’s hard to compare it to the Model Y. If I didn’t own a Tesla, I would have definitely gone for the Polestar 4.

Before the test drive, I had some preconceived notions about Polestar. The previously launched Polestar 2 is a Volvo electric car based on the XC40...blog.naver.com
The review ends here. The cost for the wrapping work is currently at a reasonable price, likely due to the recent launch of the new Tesla model. For more details, please contact Alien Agit below. Highly recommend wrapping in Bundang... ^^
