Chevrolet has officially launched the 2024 Chevrolet The New Trailblazer facelift in South Korea. Since its global release in 2020, the Trailblazer has sold over 620,000 units worldwide. The New Trailblazer has enhanced its product appeal with a partial change equivalent to a full model change and embodies all the elements that represent the authentic American SUV style.

This Trailblazer facelift features an upgraded design with a newly decorated signature dual-port grille on the front. The LED daytime running lights have become thinner, giving a more futuristic feel. Trim-specific designs have been retained, with RS and ACTIV trims offering distinctive designs and color choices that set them apart from the base model.

The RS trim adds sporty accents, while the ACTIV trim is optimized for outdoor activities. The RS offers a choice of eight exterior colors, while the ACTIV provides six exterior color options. The interior design creates a unique atmosphere for each trim. The RS trim gives a sporty feel, while the ACTIV evokes an off-road ambiance.

The vehicle features an 8-inch color cluster and a central 11-inch color touchscreen. All screens are oriented towards the driver. The central air vents and emergency button are located below the central touchscreen, and the interior uses various materials and graphics.

The New Trailblazer, based on the RS and ACTIV trims, measures 174.2 inches [4425mm] in length, 65.7 inches [1670mm] in height, and 71.3 inches [1810mm] in width, with a wheelbase of 103.9 inches [2640mm]. The standard cargo capacity is 16.2 cubic feet [460 liters], expandable to 51.9 cubic feet [1470 liters] when the second-row seats are folded.

The Trailblazer facelift offers an infotainment system and various safety features. The 11-inch color touchscreen comes standard with wireless connectivity between smartphones and the infotainment system. Options include active noise cancellation for a quiet interior, an active aero shutter that opens and closes the radiator grille as needed, a panoramic sunroof, and a hands-free power liftgate.

Advanced safety features are provided from the base trim, including six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, rear park assist, forward collision alert, head-up LED warning lights, low-speed automatic emergency braking, forward distance indicator, and lane departure warning with lane keep assist, all available from the LT trim.

The powertrain features a 1.35-liter gasoline E-turbo engine producing 156 horsepower and 177 lb-ft [24.1kg.m] of torque. Front-wheel-drive models are equipped with a VT40 continuously variable transmission, achieving 30.3 mpg [12.9km/L] combined fuel efficiency. All-wheel-drive models come with a Hydra-Matic 9-speed automatic transmission, offering 27.3 mpg [11.6km/L] combined fuel efficiency. The New Trailblazer is priced at $20,900 USD [26.99 million KRW] for the LT, $21,700 USD [27.99 million KRW] for the Premier, $24,000 USD [30.99 million KRW] for the ACTIV, and $24,000 USD [30.99 million KRW] for the RS.
