Renault Korea has launched the New QM6, a facelift model of the mid-size SUV QM6. This release includes the two-seater SUV van model, QM6 Quest. The new QM6 is a partially changed model with exterior modifications and improvements to the interior and convenience features. In addition to the QM6 GDe and LPG QM6 LPe, the QM6 Quest has been added to the lineup.
The new QM6 features a newly applied radiator grille and updated designs for the bumper and front and rear skid plates. The headlamps now include vertical LED daytime running lights, and the wheel designs have been changed for both 18-inch and 19-inch options. The interior now offers an eco-friendly olive green Nappa leather seat option.
The interior is equipped with the easy life infotainment system. The 9.3-inch display features real-time T-Map and AI-based voice recognition service "Nugu." Other features include an HD rear camera and Smart Sky View. The vehicle also comes with a 65W ultra-fast charging USB Type-C port for the rear seats, front seat LED sterilization modules, and an air purification system.
The QM6 Quest van is also generating buzz. Its cargo space measures 56.0-69.3 inches (1423mm-1760mm) in length, 49.6-52.0 inches (1261mm-1321mm) in width, and 28.5-33.8 inches (723mm-859mm) in height, providing a total cargo volume of 49.9 cubic feet (1413L). This space can accommodate 70 ramen boxes simultaneously. The maximum payload capacity is 661 lbs (300kg). These specifications make it suitable for camping and car camping.
Buyers of the QM6 Quest can receive government subsidies. It can be registered as a cargo vehicle. According to the Ministry of Environment's support program for purchasing new LPG cargo vehicles, customers who scrap their existing diesel vehicles and purchase a QM6 Quest will receive a subsidy of 1 million won ($890 USD) for the new vehicle purchase. If they scrap a diesel vehicle with an emission rating of 4 or 5 and purchase a QM6 Quest, they can receive an additional subsidy of up to 8 million won ($7,120 USD).
Buyers can also receive exemptions from individual consumption tax and education tax, and benefit from cargo vehicle tax rates for registration and annual vehicle taxes. The 2.0 GDe LE is priced between 28.6 million won ($25,454 USD) and 37.15 million won ($33,063 USD). The 2.0 LPe ranges from 29.1 million won ($25,899 USD) to 37.65 million won ($33,508 USD), while the QM6 Quest is priced between 26.8 million won ($23,852 USD) and 32.2 million won ($28,658 USD).
