Stellantis Korea is also expected to develop eco-friendly vehicle infrastructure. They plan to install charging facilities for PHEV vehicles, starting with Jeep showrooms and service centers, with plans for continuous expansion.
The CEO has also announced plans to convert all vehicles to 4xe by 2025. To achieve this, they have invested over 30 billion euros (approximately $35.4 billion USD) in developing electrification software, and R&D spending is also on the rise.
Jeep reports sales of around 6,000 units in the Korean market for the first half of this year. This represents a 41% growth compared to 2020, with the Wrangler growing by 28% and the Renegade by 24%. Additionally, they plan to launch at least one electric vehicle (BEV/PHEV) in the Korean market every year.
