With just a 5-minute charge, the new Nexo can travel up to 720 kilometers. Hyundai Motor Company has revealed the main specifications and pricing of the All-New Nexo, marking the start of its official sales. The Nexo first launched in March 2018, and this full model change comes seven years later.
The Nexo represents Hyundai's vision for hydrogen energy and the next generation of eco-friendly mobility. The new model seems to have successfully captured its design concept. It offers a robust image suitable for both urban and outdoor settings, featuring a retro-futuristic style and a maximum range of 720 kilometers on a single charge.
The motor delivers a maximum output of 150 kW, providing high-efficiency performance and top-tier safety features. Hyundai plans to expand its offerings from a single trim to three distinct trims for the new Nexo.
In the domestic market, the pricing starts at 76.44 million won (approximately $57,000 USD) for the Exclusive trim, 79.28 million won (around $59,000 USD) for the Exclusive Special trim, and 83.45 million won (about $62,000 USD) for the Prestige trim. With government subsidies of about 22.5 million won (around $16,800 USD) and local subsidies ranging from 7 million to 15 million won (approximately $5,300 to $11,300 USD), buyers can expect to start at around 38.94 million won (about $29,000 USD).
The Nexo made its debut at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, reflecting Hyundai's new design language, "Art of Steel," which emphasizes strength and beauty. The interior of the full model change offers a warmer and more comfortable environment.
The digital side mirrors (DSM) integrate seamlessly into the crash pad, enhancing the overall design quality. The roof features fixed glass, adding a vision roof specification that enhances the feeling of openness.
Hyundai has equipped the new Nexo with features such as an AI assistant, an interior fingerprint authentication system, Digital Key 2, Built-in Cam 2 Plus, indoor V2L, outdoor V2L, premium sound by Bang & Olufsen, and intelligent headlamps (IFS).
The new Nexo features a dedicated 150 kW motor, providing a 94 kW output from the hydrogen fuel cell stack and an 80 kW output from the high-voltage battery, achieving a 0 to 60 mph performance in just 7.8 seconds. The hydrogen storage tank utilizes high-performance composite materials, increasing the hydrogen storage capacity to 6.69 kg.
With a quick charge time of just 5 minutes, the Nexo achieves a remarkable range of up to 720 kilometers, setting a world-class standard for single-charge driving distance. The full model change incorporates a multi-structural framework in the front, significantly enhancing the body structure with hot stamping and high-strength materials to ensure top-level collision safety performance.
The new Nexo includes safety features such as the Pedal Misoperation Safety Assist (PMSA), a 9-airbag system, a multi-collision avoidance automatic braking system, and a driver monitoring system.
