We start by replacing the air cleaner (also known as the intake filter).
This filter sits on top of the engine and has a unique shape.
The N47 and B47 engines used in the BMW F10 520d models are different from each other.
This is the oil filter, which filters out foreign substances as the oil circulates.
As vehicles age, it’s crucial to pay attention to this part.
Next, we lift the car to start draining the oil.
To ensure that residual oil drains effectively, we need to allow some time for this process, so we should prepare in advance.
During this time, we also check the tire pressure, pad wear, and any leaks in the differential and transmission areas.
As vehicles accumulate more years and kilometers, they naturally cannot maintain the condition of a new car, and we take this into consideration during diagnostics!

After installing the oil filter with a torque wrench, we finish with a parts cleaner shower.
