The BMW 5GT features an air suspension system,
This system does not use air suspension at the front.
It's a bit unusual because
the front utilizes a standard shock absorber type (shock absorber with a spring),
while the rear employs a separate type with an air spring on a standard shock.
This means it applies only to the rear, using an air spring rather than an air shock.
So, when I checked the condition upon receiving the vehicle,
the front looked fine, haha.
However, the rear was so low that it nearly covered the fender,
causing it to be inoperable.
Usually, this leads to suspicions about the air spring,
However, this vehicle had already come in with such issues before,
so we replaced both air springs.
"Oh?! So is the air spring problematic again?!"
No, this time the issue lies with the air compressor and valve block.
During the maintenance, I noticed that the compressor wasn't in great condition when adjusting the ride height,
but it was still operational, so I didn't replace it.
However, over time, the problem resurfaced,
and I found myself dealing with the BMW 5GT again.
This situation is tricky; if I had anticipated the issue earlier,
I would have preferred to fix it then,
but considering the costs involved,
it's not easy to make such decisions.
In any case, what's important is the present!
So, I made sure to perform a thorough maintenance this time and assisted with the vehicle's release.
