The hard suspension enhances ride comfort by reinforcing spring stiffness, maintaining vehicle stability under heavy loading, and minimizing body sway during cargo transport.
Additionally, the inclusion of a differential lock enhances safety on rough or slippery roads, improving the vehicle's marketability. The LPG turbo 1.2-ton and EV 1-ton Smart Selection trims inherit key performance features from higher trims while maintaining practical specifications for competitive pricing.
The LPG turbo 1.2-ton Smart Selection features a standard 5-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 159 horsepower and a peak torque of 30.0 kgf.m. The EV 1-ton Smart Selection uses the same battery as the GL trim, providing a driving range of 211 km on a single charge.
The selling prices for the Bongo Smart Selection trim are 22,150,000 won (approximately $16,500 USD) for the LPG model 1-ton 2WD long wheelbase king cab, 24,950,000 won (approximately $18,800 USD) for the 1.2-ton 2WD long wheelbase king cab, and 43,150,000 won (approximately $32,500 USD) for the EV model 1-ton 2WD long wheelbase king cab. (The EV model prices reflect the base amount before electric vehicle subsidies and tax benefits.)
