This year, Hyundai's luxury premium brand Genesis has continued to gain remarkable popularity in the domestic automotive market. Starting with the launch of the Genesis GV80 facelift and the GV80 Coupe model last year, Genesis unveiled a series of new vehicles this first half of the year, including the facelifted luxury mid-size sedan G80 and the luxury mid-size SUV GV70. Thanks to the appeal of these new models, Genesis has maintained a dominant position in the domestic luxury car market, outpacing competitors like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Lexus.

Moreover, many consumers in the domestic market prefer SUVs, which offer ample space for outdoor activities like camping, rather than sedans. This trend appears to have benefited the Genesis GV80, which is priced somewhat lower than its competitors in the same class. As a result, the sales figures for the Genesis GV80 in the first half of this year reached 38,752 units, marking a 39.7% increase compared to the same period last year (27,733 units).

Notably, in the United States, the Genesis GV80 sold over 10,000 units, representing about a 22% increase compared to last year's first half sales of 8,255 units. This new model has showcased an attractive design that captivates consumers worldwide. The facelifted design of the GV80 highlights the unique character of the Genesis brand, presenting a luxurious and sporty appearance, particularly with the introduction of the coupe-style GV80 Coupe. The front design stands out with its grandeur and sophistication.

The radiator grille features a dual-mesh structure that smooths out the lines, enhancing the dynamic and luxurious impression. Additionally, the iconic two-line headlamp design incorporates ultra-precise MLA-type headlamps. The dynamic intake vent design and skid plate emphasize the SUV vibe, resulting in a high-quality front-end design.

The attention to detail continues with the rear design, which emphasizes the Genesis crest grille shape with a rear diffuser as a prime example. The GV80 facelift also features subtle changes in the reflectors and other design details, creating a cohesive design for both the front and rear. The side profile boasts a sporty wheel design with various sizes and colors available, adding another layer of appeal.

However, the true charm of domestic cars lies in their interior design. The interior of the facelifted Genesis GV80 features a three-spoke steering wheel, a 27-inch wide OLED monitor, a touch climate control panel, a Genesis integrated controller, an electronic shift dial, and cupholders, creating an attractive space that rivals the original GV80.
