Hyundai Motor Company has announced that it will produce its first-ever convertible.
The first convertible from Hyundai is the Genesis 'X Convertible,' which debuted as a concept car last November.

The X Convertible features a hardtop moonroof that allows sunlight or moonlight to enter the cabin even when the roof is closed, creating an open atmosphere.
The front of the Genesis X Convertible connects the signature Genesis Crest grille with the "two-line headlamps."
The exterior color draws inspiration from the elegant appearance of the crane, featuring a white shade named 'Crane White.'
The interior colors are 'Tile Navy' and 'Dancheong Orange,' inspired by the roofs of traditional Korean houses.
The Genesis X Convertible features a long hood, short overhangs, and a long wheelbase.
The driver’s seat boasts a unique design where the display wraps around the controls and the driver.
According to Automotive News, Luke Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer of Hyundai Motor Group, told Genesis dealers in the U.S. during an annual meeting earlier this year that they would begin producing the X Convertible.
Peter Lanchavechia, who has served as the chair of the Genesis dealer advisory council for many years and operates a Genesis dealership in New Jersey, remarked, "It’s a very good sign that Donckerwolke announced this in front of hundreds of Genesis dealers."
Lanchavechia added, "I’m not sure if the X Convertible will exceed $200,000 (approximately 250 million KRW) or $300,000 (approximately 370 million KRW), but when it hits the showroom, I am confident that many Bentley 'Continental Convertible' owners will trade in their vehicles for the X Convertible."
"The X Convertible will become Genesis's true flagship model," he continued, "and while sales may be limited, it will help solidify Genesis's image as a genuine luxury brand."
