Currently, Hyundai Motor Company has announced the launch of the country's first mass-produced mobile office, the Universe Mobile Office.
The Universe Mobile Office transforms Hyundai's premium high-speed bus, the Universe, into a workspace, allowing passengers to work or relax while on the move.
This vehicle features a group collaboration space for small meetings and storage space in addition to individual work areas.
The interior of the Universe Mobile Office maximizes openness with a harmonious blend of curves and straight lines.
The bus incorporates luxurious and practical design elements, such as cordless blinds without visible cords and bright-colored reinforced flooring, enhancing its sophistication.
Notably, the office bus comes equipped with premium reclining seats, individual entertainment systems, wireless charging pads,
side tables for work, and storage space as standard features.
The group collaboration area includes a video conferencing system, foldable meeting tables, and sofa seating.
Hyundai customizes the storage space based on customer requirements.
The Universe Mobile Office will be available in several configurations, including a standard 10-passenger model, a 13-passenger multi-person seating version,
a 13-passenger model with expanded workspace, and a 13-passenger mobile collaboration version.
The prices for the models are as follows: the 10-passenger model costs approximately 440,000 USD, the 13-passenger multi-person model costs about 420,000 USD, the 13-passenger expanded workspace model is around 425,000 USD, and the 13-passenger mobile collaboration model is about 400,000 USD.
The 10-passenger version is subject to a 3.5% individual consumption tax.
In July of this year, Hyundai showcased the Universe Mobile Office at the 2022 Busan International Motor Show.
Last year, they also presented the Universe command vehicle to the Hyundai Motors soccer team to celebrate their K League championship victory.
