Recently, I unveiled the Ioniq 6 at the '2022 Busan International Motor Show' held in Busan.

The design of the Ioniq 6, Hyundai's second dedicated electric vehicle, shocked many.

Surprisingly, the Ioniq 6 boasts one of the highest electric consumption efficiencies in the world.

This efficiency is akin to the fuel consumption ratio of traditional internal combustion engine vehicles.

However, the electric vehicle market is witnessing new changes recently.

Automakers are not just launching new electric vehicle models; they are also enhancing their product appeal to secure a competitive edge in the future electric vehicle market.

Interestingly, at the 'Busan International Motor Show,' no dedicated electric vehicle currently sold in Korea surpassed the Ioniq 6's efficiency.

Currently, the Ioniq 6, certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, has an efficiency of 6.2 km/kWh for the 'Standard 2WD (rear-wheel drive)' model and 6.0 km/kWh for the 'Long Range 2WD' model.

In contrast, the Tesla Model 3 Standard RWD has an efficiency of 5.7 km/kWh, making the Ioniq 6 slightly more efficient.

Hyundai appears to lead the electric vehicle market by showcasing industry-leading efficiency.

In particular, the Ioniq 6 presents a radically different appearance from traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, which is impressive.

Currently, Hyundai plans to initiate pre-orders for the Ioniq 6 by the end of this month, with full vehicle deliveries expected after September.

The price of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is expected to range from 4,150 to 4,950 USD.
