Volvo S60: A Stunning Car That Almost Stole the Show—Until the Storm Hit!

Honestly, there were many disappointing aspects to this event. It wasn't due to poor preparation or lackluster content.

The launch event for #THENEWS60 scheduled for September 7 was canceled because of Typhoon Lingling.

The New S60 launch event offered prizes to those who won through social media applications, and I was lucky enough to be one of them.

I was excited to see singer #Chungha perform, but unfortunately, the event got canceled due to the typhoon.

I enjoy watching famous dancers like Chungha. That's why I also like BTS.

I got a bit carried away at the beginning. It was disappointing that the performances by famous artists like Beenzino and Chungha were canceled due to Typhoon Lingling.

The stage was beautifully decorated, too.

#Volvo I hope they can make it up to us at the next new car launch event.

The 2019 trendsetter car is the 2019 Volvo S60

Although the launch event was canceled due to the typhoon, I received a message saying that the events, minus the performances, would still take place the next day.

The event took place at the Paradise City Hotel in Yeongjongdo, which required significant travel costs, including tolls and gas.

Still, just the chance to see the Volvo S60 in person drew me there.

So I went and saw it. The

indeed.

How do you like the design in the photos? Isn't it stunning? Haha.

On that day, I visited the Paradise Hotel in Yeongjongdo with my wife.

The elegance of the hotel matched perfectly with the sophistication of the Volvo S60.

Those who attended the launch event will understand what I mean.

The Volvo S60 features a 1,969cc inline 4-cylinder single-turbo engine.

It delivers a maximum output of 254hp and a torque of 35.7kg.m.

With a length of 4,761mm, a width of 1,850mm, and a height of 1,431mm, it sets the standard for mid-size sedans.

The design exudes a sophistication that appeals to younger drivers.

In fact, Volvo is currently at the height of its popularity.

Rumors suggest that people have to wait a year for each new model release.

Whether it's due to high demand or limited supply of models in the country, it can be confusing.

The bottom line is that the brand is thriving.

The design of the front end sets it apart from domestic cars, giving it a unique pride.

It's not just that it's better than domestic cars; it simply looks stunning.

I test drove the Volvo S90 with my wife, and I couldn't tell the difference in design between the interior and exterior.

Is it just a size difference?

Of course, upon closer inspection, the S90's luxurious interior does feel a bit superior.

However, the biggest advantage of the S90 is that you can't find significant differences compared to the flagship model.

That's why the Volvo S60 is so popular, right?

The interior features Bowers & Wilkins speakers that deliver rich sound.

What do you think of the design after seeing it in person?

I rambled on, but it's best to see the design for yourself.

One minor disappointment is that the trunk is semi-automatic.

It opens automatically, but you have to close it manually.

This was likely done to cut costs and lower the price, right?

The design is exceptionally beautiful. I think Volvo's side profile is particularly stunning.

Catering services were provided for those who attended the Volvo S60 launch event.

I had hoped to enjoy a performance by a singer while at the Paradise City Hotel...

But Typhoon Lingling swept that dream away.

Nonetheless, I created some wonderful memories with my wife.

I enjoyed catering at Paradise City Chroma,

I received a Volvo car as a gift...

I also created a calligraphy smartphone wallpaper just for my wife and me...

At the venue where famous artists were supposed to perform, I enjoyed a cocktail and a beer.

When I visited the Paradise City Hotel the day after the event,

I felt that if the event had gone as planned, it would have been a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

I've attended many launch events, but the scale and detail of this one confirmed that Volvo stands out above the rest.

I hope Volvo's next new model launch event creates unforgettable memories.

Volvo has established itself as a popular brand, and the highly anticipated 2019 S60.

This model has generated a hot response since its release, making me happy just to see it.

Although the launch event was canceled, I still experienced the true scale of Volvo.

I haven't had the chance to test drive the Volvo S60 yet, but I expect to do so soon.
