Lamborghini has unveiled its first-ever plug-in hybrid supercar, the
Revuelto, in South Korea.
I was eager to see the actual vehicle, especially after hearing the price is in the high 700 million won range,
and Lamborghini's supercar design exceeded my expectations.
The Revuelto features a mid-mounted V12 6.5L naturally aspirated engine paired with
three electric motors, delivering an impressive total output of 1,015 horsepower.
Additionally, the double-clutch transmission, which is a first for a V12 engine,
provides an exhilarating experience every time you press the accelerator.
This was my first time seeing a car with over 1,000 horsepower in person,
and I can only wish to push the accelerator down hard on a clear track just once.

The scale of the launch event was impressive, but the supercar that soon appeared showcased a design so striking that it captured everyone's attention.
I personally had the opportunity to test drive the Lamborghini Urus, and I can confirm that the brand's sports car style is undeniably attractive.
Lamborghini is known for its unique and luxurious color selections, and the Revuelto's bright orange hue gives it a bold yet sophisticated appearance.
While I personally prefer blue tones, I believe any color applied to this car would leave a strong impression.

The Revuelto is the first electrified model, and even now, it requires a wait of over two years for delivery after placing an order in South Korea.
Even if you can afford the price of 700 million won (approximately 530,000 USD), waiting two years for delivery is still a significant hurdle.
As of May, Lamborghini sold a total of 143 units, marking a remarkable 27% increase compared to the same period last year.
This substantial growth reflects South Korea's status as a significant market for supercars, which likely explains why the Asia-Pacific General Manager attended the launch event in person.
The newly introduced V12 HPEV model is expected to enhance Lamborghini's electrification efforts with its stable performance and increased speed.
Lamborghini's special carbon fiber technology has been used throughout the car, including in the new monofuselage structure, as well as in the bumpers and doors.
This has successfully reduced weight, achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 3.85 lbs/hp with the powerful 1,015 hp engine.
Moreover, the low body design features an aerodynamic shape that ensures stability at high speeds.
The driver's seat is designed like a pilot's cockpit, making you feel as if you are flying when you sit behind the wheel.
