Last weekend, I went on a two-day, one-night golf trip with my wife.
The model in the photo is the BMW 3 Series 320i Luxury model.
The color is Sunset Orange, and it's absolutely gorgeous, isn’t it?
This model appears red in bright light but transforms into a vibrant orange in darker settings, making it incredibly appealing.
From the moment my wife saw this model, she praised its beautiful color endlessly~
Even as a man, I find the color to be stunning and refreshing.
Until now, I thought the Portimao Blue was the most attractive color in the 3 Series, but after seeing the Sunset Orange in person, I must say it’s the most beautiful and captivating color.
The BMW 3 Series continues to receive love after its complete redesign last year.
However, after its launch, the lineup was limited, failing to meet many customers' needs.
Now, it offers a diverse lineup including the 320d, 320i, M340i, and the plug-in hybrid model 330e, gaining popularity.
(Previously, the 330i was sold, but with the introduction of the 330e this year, domestic imports have been temporarily halted.)
Among them, the BMW 320i stands out for its reasonable price and excellent fuel efficiency, boasting the best value for money.
Therefore, it garners significant interest from young owners looking for a compact yet high-performance model with great value.
The price of the BMW 320i Luxury model is 53,900,000 KRW (approximately $40,000 USD) after applying the individual consumption tax reduction.
However, with promotional offers that change monthly, you can purchase it for around 40,000,000 KRW (approximately $30,000 USD), which definitely captures the attention of young owners.
The BMW 320i model is the only one you can purchase for around 40,000,000 KRW (approximately $30,000 USD), which BMW is renowned for making so well.
In simple comparison, the 320d model costs 56,700,000 KRW (approximately $42,000 USD), while the 320d xDrive model is priced at 59,700,000 KRW (approximately $44,000 USD), making it difficult to buy for around 40,000,000 KRW (approximately $30,000 USD) even with promotions.
You notice a price difference of about 2,800,000 KRW (approximately $2,000 USD) when comparing the two.
The combined fuel efficiency is 11.0 km/L (approximately 25.8 MPG) (9.7 km/L in the city and 13.1 km/L on the highway).
Considering that the diesel model, the 320d xDrive, achieves 13.5 km/L (approximately 31.8 MPG), the difference doesn’t seem significant.
Additionally, there is a growing trend towards gasoline and electric vehicles, considering environmental concerns over diesel models.
Considering the vehicle price and economic aspects, it seems challenging to find a model that surpasses this one.
Moreover, the overall specifications sufficiently capture the hearts of young people who enjoy FUN Driving.
The 320i produces 184 horsepower and delivers a maximum torque of 30.59 kg·m.
It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds, providing ample power that never feels sluggish.
Keep in mind that the curb weight of the 3 Series is around 3,529 lbs, so this level of output feels sufficient.
The 320i is a gasoline model, and you won’t need to question its interior quietness.
It’s clear that both gasoline and diesel models have their respective advantages, but as mentioned earlier, factors like environmental issues, quietness, and vehicle price make the 320i increasingly attractive.
If I had to compare, that is. Haha.

The sound system was so good that I enjoyed listening to music, making the drive feel less tedious.

The BMW 320i boasts enough trunk space to comfortably fit two golf bags, two Boston bags, and other luggage.
It easily accommodated all our gear for a two-day golf trip, leaving extra space.
The golf bags fit perfectly when placed in two layers, but only two can fit.
If you plan to go for a round with three people, you can fold down 60% of the second row to fit three golf bags lengthwise, while the remaining 40% can accommodate passengers.
Most larger imported mid-size sedans struggle to accommodate four players, so I recognize that the BMW 320i offers ample trunk space for its size.
The driving performance of the 320i, which embodies BMW's unique FUN driving experience, made for a satisfying golf trip.
As I write this post, reminiscing through the photos, I find myself captivated once again by the chameleon-like charm of the Sunset Orange color.
I believe this is the most beautiful color I have seen on any BMW 3 Series model so far.
The color that highlights the design of the BMW 3 Series is truly a work of art.
