Why the BMW X1 is Compared to the X3 After Its Full Change?

Recently, when I visited the Deutsche Motors BMW Auto World showroom in Suwon,
I saw the BMW X1 on display and was surprised by its spacious size, which made me momentarily think it was an X3.
The BMW X1 is a compact SUV that has received positive reviews for its trendy design and ample interior space.
It continues to impress with its marketability.
The BMW X1 comes in five exterior colors: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Cape York Green, Space Silver,
and San Remo Green.
The model featured in this review is Space Silver, which gives a clean and luxurious feel. However,
due to lower inventory levels compared to white or black models, customers may need to wait.
The BMW X1 offers a diverse lineup, including the gasoline model xDrive 20i, the diesel model sDrive 18d,
and the high-performance M Performance model M35i.
There is also a pure electric model, the iX1, which has a design almost identical to the gasoline version, except for the front grille.
It seems BMW has made a concerted effort to enhance the marketability of its compact SUV lineup compared to the past.
With the rise of the MZ generation enjoying car camping, outdoor activities, and leisure sports,
the number of people engaging in these activities has exploded.
Moreover, the trend of choosing imported cars as a first vehicle is also increasing, which seems to position them as a key customer demographic.
One of the most surprising aspects I found while reviewing the BMW X1 was its trunk space.
The pure trunk capacity is 540L, which is only 10L smaller than the BMW X3's 550L.
This is quite impressive.
Additionally, when you fold down the second-row seats, you can utilize up to 1,600L of space, matching the BMW X3's capacity.
For these reasons, customers who initially intended to purchase the X3 often find themselves opting for the relatively smaller and more affordable BMW X1, which still offers a beautiful design and ample trunk space.
However, couples, newlyweds, and families with young children tend to rate the BMW X1's marketability even higher.
