I test-drove the facelifted model of BMW's mid-size SUV, the X6.
This model boasts an attractive coupe design and ample space,
making it a best-selling imported SUV that continues to receive love.
The facelift has upgraded its appeal, making it a hot topic upon release.
Initially, many anticipated the design would be revealed at the new car launch event since it's one of BMW's main models.
I was able to see the actual car at the Deutsche Auto World Suwon showroom.
At the same time, BMW released a facelifted model of the X5,
and both models are available for viewing and test-driving, so I recommend visiting to
check out the updated design and take a spin yourself.
The newly released facelifted model maintains the same side design but
upgrades the wheels to a more refined look compared to the previous generation,
resulting in an overall better balance.
The mid-size coupe design still looks attractive from the side, right?
When looking at the front design of the facelifted model,
you might find it difficult to spot the changes as they are quite subtle.
Instead, you can see that the interior design has undergone significant changes.
Typically, facelifts maintain the interior while making significant changes to the exterior design,
but the newly introduced X5 and X6 facelifted models took a completely different approach.
The most noticeable change in the exterior design is the headlights.
The new blue laser light LED headlamps are impressive, and
if you look closely, you can spot the two main lamps.
Additionally, I noticed an arrow design~
The turn signals light up, as shown in the photo below, clearly indicating the direction you want to go.
The visibility improved compared to the previous model,
and you can see a unique change that sets it apart from other models.

Initially, I struggled to adapt to this feature, but I quickly got used to it during the test drive.
The iconic glow kidney grille adds a grand and luxurious feel,
while the sleeker headlight design and well-proportioned layout enhance its appeal.
The model I drove came in Manhattan Metallic color, maximizing the bold look of this mid-size SUV.
Other exterior colors include Mineral White Metallic, Carbon Black Metallic, and Brooklyn Gray Metallic.
They were also showcased.
The rear features striking 3D LED taillights and impressive exhaust outlets.
As mentioned earlier, the exterior design has only minor changes, so
unless you park them side by side, you might not even notice the differences.
However, the interior design has seen significant changes.
I previously posted about my experience test-driving the BMW X7 facelift model,
and this X5 & X6 facelift model features the same interior design.
If you're looking for a uniquely applied interior design, look for the ambient light design right in front of the passenger seat, which features the X5 and X6 logo.
The crystal gear selector lever, the chrome-designed dial,
and the black high-gloss center console design all contribute to a feeling similar to that of the X7.
The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the larger 14.9-inch control display connect seamlessly with a curved design,
providing the driver with easily visible information.
The touch sensitivity and response speed are satisfactory, and
the wider monitor design allows for various information to be easily viewed at a glance.
The interior space remains the same as the previous generation, but it feels more spacious,
making me look around for a while to figure out what has changed compared to the previous model.

This model features a Sky Lounge panoramic glass sunroof, allowing passengers in the back to enjoy a refreshing sense of openness.
The coupe-style X6 has received some feedback about limited headroom for adults due to its lower height, but
the Sky Lounge panoramic glass sunroof provides a spacious feeling.
